I started my career in financial services as an agent with Pearl Assurance in 1988. At Pearl I worked in various roles, both sales and management, which gave me the confidence to go into the world of independent financial advice in the year 2000. After 20 years with two different companies I am now going it alone with my own company Paul Forman Financial Services.
I have been advising some of the same clients for over 30 years and pride myself on forming long-lasting and trusted relationships.
My areas of speciality are retirement planning, pensions, investments, portfolio building, inheritance tax planning, savings, life assurance, critical illness and income protection.
I pride myself in being able to explain the complex world of financial services in plain English. This is achieved by understanding the needs, wants and goals of my clients, and implementing tailored financial plans to address those issues.
I am based in Tiverton, Devon, so the majority of my clients are in the Devon and Somerset area, however I have clients, that I conduct annual reviews with, as far west as St Ives and as far east as East London. I have been married to Sarah for over 30 years and we have two grown up children and two dogs. I really enjoy my football (although playing days are long gone!) and enjoy most sports. I also enjoy travelling, walking the dogs, live music and festivals, cycling, the occasional quiz, a good wine and socialising with friends.
